Welcome to my blog! This is something I've been trying to get started for quite some time now, and I hope I can keep up on it!
For my first blog post I wanted to share with you one of my favorite family sessions from this summer. For me this session highlights the importance of coming to your session relaxed and ready to have a. great time! It makes all.the.DIFFERENCE!! Your family's photo session will be what you make it. Whether it's stiff and awkward or relaxed and fun depends in many ways on you, the client! I want to capture your family interacting with one another, loving on one another, and having fun together, so loosen up and be yourselves and I'll capture the magic!
The Mitchell family did just that. I LOVE the shots where cuddles and tickles erupted spontaneously! At other times I'll guide you to do certain things that will get your kids having fun (like the above shot--I seriously want to hang that on my own wall!) and chase those grumpies away (let's face it, kids aren't always that excited to have their pictures taken!
Dads, I know picture time isn't exactly your favorite, but when you're into it and having fun, then your kids will be too, and it will be way more fun and way less painful! So get down there and cuddle your kiddos!
I promise, your images will be SO MUCH BETTER when you just determine to loosen up and have fun with your family. I'll do my part to help make that happen as well! Add a dash of golden light and we will really be GOLDEN. :)
